Our client was walking through a marked crosswalk in Washington, D.C. when he was struck by a government-owned pickup truck that was making a left turn on a solid green light. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and injuries to his lower extremities. The injuries were unique in that he had a pre-existing physical condition that was discovered during treatment, and the full extent of our client’s injuries were not diagnosed until substantial medical treatment was completed. The case was resolved at mediation.
