Our client, a 60-year-old pedestrian, was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing a road in Springfield, Virginia. The victim, who spoke limited English, was initially misidentified in a police report due to communication barriers and errors in the investigation. The driver was later found during a traffic stop, and the passenger of the hit-and-run vehicle came forward to report the incident. Though the victim sadly passed away from unrelated causes during the case, a survival claim was pursued.
