A 60-year-old retiree and avid cyclist, was riding a bicycle in Arlington County when the defendant attempted to make a left turn, failed to yield the right of way, and struck the client. The client sustained multiple cervical spine fractures, a fractured jaw, nasal fractures, a concussion, pulmonary contusions, and lacerations to the face and hand.
