Client, a minor, was struck in a marked crosswalk and fractured her pelvis, wrist, and jaw. The defendant denied he did anything wrong, and claimed the pedestrian ran out in front of him without warning. We downloaded the event data recording of defendant’s car. It revealed the defendant was speeding and showed still images of the client walking in a marked crosswalk. Case resolved for the car insurance policy limits.
