Rakin Hamad is a trial lawyer that has been with Curcio Law since 2018. He has represented clients in cases involving motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, pedestrian and cyclist injuries, rideshare vehicles, slip and fall injuries, burn injuries, dog bites, and unsafe products. Rakin has obtained millions of dollars for his clients and works diligently to help his clients rebuild their lives with commitment, compassion, and character.

Rakin has followed Tom’s lead and has worked to give back to his professional and legal community as well. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA) and is currently the Chair-Elect of the Young Trial Lawyers Section. Rakin is also active in the Fairfax and Alexandria Bar Associations and has presented at continuing legal education (CLE) seminars.

Rakin graduated from the George Mason Law School in 2018 and became barred in Virginia and Washington D.C. shortly thereafter. In law school, Rakin interned at the Virginia Court of Appeals and was a member of the George Mason Law Review, the trial advocacy association, and the pro bono society. In 2016, Rakin also served as program director of the National Youth Justice Alliance.

Prior to law school, Rakin graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech. He has lived in Northern Virginia for the majority of his life and currently lives in the City of Alexandria. Outside of the office Rakin enjoys playing sports, especially basketball and golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
