Alexandria attorney Thomas J. Curcio, founder of Curcio Law in Alexandria, recently assumed the presidency of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA). Curcio has been involved with VTLA since his admission to the Virginia bar in 1983 and has served on numerous committees within the organization. The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, headquartered in Richmond, has approximately 2,200 members across the Commonwealth, representing clients in a large number of practice areas.
Tom Curcio earned his law degree from George Washington University and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Tom Curcio started working as a law clerk in Alexandria in 1981 and was impressed with the quality of lawyers and level of practice in Alexandria. After Law School, he started working with Bernie Cohen and others, eventually becoming a partner in the firm. In 2004, he created Curcio Law and focused solely on personal injury.
